Below is some basic questions asked by our customers which we think we would share with you. How to register again after a disk crash ? I have not got the Microsoft Word system, how to show the MS Word files ? How do I change screen language in TheGoodLife How do I change the text on some of the screens ? How do I compress/repair the various databases ? You write TheGoodLife has a 'lifelong' update, how do I make such an update? I got the error: Could not load file or assembly ADODB, Version=7.0.3300.0 I get the error: “The supplier Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 is not registred on the local Machine”.
Q: How to register again after a disk crash ? A: If you had to install a new hard disk drive, then you have to re-install the software once again via our download page, reason is the program key is linked to the disk drive serial number. Send the "Registration Form" with an explanation of the event which caused the new download, and we will send you a new registration key free of charge. Q: How do I change screen language in TheGoodLife ? A: Go to "Files/New Language" and select the screen language you want to use. If the language in question is not found in the database, the system will then select English as default. Then you have to go to "Files/Edit Screen Text" to change the wordings from English to your language. The program, is delivered with the English, German, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish screen languages. This is also valid for all the other LevSoft programs. Q: How do I change the text on some of the screens ? A: Select "Files/Edit Screen Text" and a new screen will appear. Select the screen name (the names are fairly obvious) where you want to change some text. Change what you want to and the next time you open this screen the text will appear as you changed it. Q: I have not got the Microsoft Word, how to show the MS Word files ? A: In the directory where you have saved the GoodLife system, you will find a file named "ExcelViewer.exe". Click this file and the Viewer will be installed. This system can read and write the Word document files. Q: How do I compress/repair the various databases ? A: In the directory where you have saved the GoodLife system, you will find a program named "UpdateDatabase_Net.exe". Just select this program and all the databases will be compressed/repaired. Q: You write TheGoodLife has a 'lifelong' update, how do I make such an update? A:  Select "Files/Check For Updates" and the program search for a new update if available. Q: I got the error: Could not load file or assembly ADODB, Version=7.0.3300.0 A:  In the folder where you downloaded the program, look for a file named "AccessRuntime.exe", klikk this file to install . In most cases this should solve this problem. Or you can download the file from: http://www.levsoft.no/Downloads/AccessRuntime.exe
Q:  I get the error: “The supplier Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 is not registred on the local Machine”. A:  This is because you work on a 64-bits computer and our software is designed to work on 32-bits computers. In order to solve this problem, please klikk the following link  htp://www.levsoft.no/Download/AccessDatabaseEngine_x64.exe  and follow the instructions given. In most cases this solves this problem.
